A direction is choosen and the project is moved from paper into a 3D relm for continued anaylsis and refinement. Selected concepts are constructed and studied in the computer using SolidWorks. SolidWorks allows our designers to quickly translate 2 dimensional sketches into 3 dimensional computer models for more accurate evaluation of form and manufacturability. Because we ultimately use SolidWorks to export tooling files, a quick jump

into 3D for even a basic form study gives us the added benefit of a head start on final file preparation. This speeds development time and lowers costs.
